working on tosca

¡ahora sí! estoy trabajando en mi 'tosca' definitiva /

razones por las que creo que esto funciona (tengo 6 en mente pero preferiría que fueran 7, ya se me ocurrirá la séptima):

1. fluye. todo fluye, lindo, suavecito, seguro y lubricado

2. hay magia en el cuadro, no puedo resolver cosas aca en un papel o en mi mente, el único campo de batalla posible es el cuadro mismo

3. es un placer dibujar

4. cada sesión puedo empezarla por cualquier lado, todas las áreas están abiertas todo el tiempo, no hay esquemas ni hay miedo

5. cada linea modificada modifica el resto acentuando el clima general, pipí-cucú!

Monday, February 13th was a great day.  I'm exploring a totally different way to work on this project.

Drawing, not too much paint. Using white & Payne's gray.

I'm using this new fabric just for experimenting in different ways.

Tosca became a traditional oil painting, the 'impasto' was impossible to avoid, and that surface was not what I had in mind for the dress rehearsal.

I thought about my maestro Aníbal Carreño, about La gesta ( http://www.rafael-landea.com/e-lagesta.html ), and lines, lines, lines, and lines.
